2:30pm Mr Dickens is Coming!
Gerald Dickens, the great-great grandson of Charles Dickens, has worked as an actor, director and producer for many years.
A fascination with the life and works of his famous relative led him to write and direct several one man shows. This show is a light-hearted and varied look at the life and character of Charles Dickens. With a fresh and modern perspective, Gerald uses scenes from the great author’s works and diary extracts.
Observations from those who knew and worked with Charles Dickens are also incorporated in this lively performance.

8:00pm The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
![]()
The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain returns to share with us their belief that all genres of music are available for reinterpretation – as long as they are played on the ukulele.
There will be no drums, no pianos, no backing tracks and no banjos!
The Orchestra has sold out shows all over the UK and has many TV and radio credits … not to mention triumphant appearances at Glastonbury and the Royal Albert Hall.
Enjoy their unusual medleys which might mingle melodies fusing up to seven songs including a Handel Air, Fly Me to the Moon and Hotel California.
At Ramada Hotel - Tickets £26 (£25)
